Music Licensing
Last updated: July 19, 2026
Licensing included
Playing consumer streaming services (personal Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) in a business is not permitted by their terms. Treble is different: our catalog is licensed for commercial background use, and your subscription covers that use inside your registered business location — that's what "licensing included" means on our pricing.
What's covered
Background music inside the registered location, across your zones and players, during business hours, for your customers and staff.
What's not covered
Ticketed events, jukebox-style pay-per-play, fitness classes sold around specific music, broadcasting/streaming the audio outside your premises, and any use at locations not on your subscription. If your use looks like these, contact us and we'll help you get the right coverage.
Availability
Catalog and clearances vary by territory. The programs Treble builds for you only ever include music cleared for your location.
